About Us

Some venues swallow a band alive. Gothic Theatre does the opposite. Built into a stretch of South Broadway that's become one of Colorado's most eclectic music corridors, the Gothic holds roughly 1,000 people, which means the act you came to see is close enough that you can read the setlist taped to the stage floor. That intimacy is the whole point.

The artists playing here are not warm-up acts waiting to graduate. They are the real thing, the kind of musicians who fill rooms with people who actually know every word. Fans drive from Roswell, New Mexico and beyond because seeing a show at the Gothic is categorically different from watching the same artist disappear into a sea of 15,000 strangers. The room rewards that effort with sight lines that work from nearly every angle, staff that reviewers consistently describe as kind and genuinely caring, and acoustics that let a guitar cut through cleanly.

With a 4.5-star rating built on nearly 3,000 reviews, the Gothic has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way, one show at a time. Upstairs balcony seating, a full bar, and a layout that flows without the usual arena-venue chaos make it the kind of place you come back to not just for the headliner but for the experience itself.

What We Offer

The Gothic books a wide range of genres, from indie rock and metal to hip-hop, electronic, and everything in between. General admission standing on the main floor puts you right in the energy of the crowd. Upstairs balcony seating gives you an elevated view with a little breathing room, and both options give you a legitimate shot at a great experience.

The venue operates a full-service bar on both levels, with drinks available throughout the show. Bathrooms are accessible on entry, with women's facilities upstairs to the left and additional restrooms to the right on the main level, so you spend less time navigating and more time watching. Parking along South Broadway and nearby side streets is straightforward for most shows.

For private events, corporate buyouts, and special productions, the Gothic's historic room and professional production infrastructure make it a compelling choice. The production crew here handles sound and lighting at a level that punches well above the venue's capacity, which is exactly why touring artists keep coming back.

"Quaint venue to hear those awesome bands that haven’t become Stadium/Full Arena bands, but you don’t know why. It’s actually better to see these groups here because it’s just so much more personal feeling. Staff is nice, water bottle fuller station, free ear plugs! Enjoy!"

"Everyone at this venue that I encountered was absolutely kind, understanding, and caring. I was in attendance at tonight's Mirador show. My friend and I drove in from Roswell, NM. Made the decision to be a little crazy and sit in a queue for 12 hours. It was a long day filled with crazy weather and new friends. However come time to go in and even before there were issues with the AXS server. The issues were SEVERE and affected pretty much everyone! I happened to be near the box office at GA line and had asked the employee at the box office for help. Unfortunately there wasn't much she could do due to the Internet situation but she was SO kind. She arranged entry for us and got myself and my friend an impeccable spot. I wish I had gotten her name! But she was amazing and I am so grateful for all of the amazing staff at this Venue. You guys are truly blessings. Keep being badass."

"Really great place to see a show. As you walk in, the bathrooms are to the left or to the right up the stairs ( women's on the left ). There is seating upstairs or downstairs, a lot of times. General admission is only downstairs and there's not a ton of leveling or gradient before the stage. So if there's anyone slightly taller than you, you'll notice when they are in front of you. They do some deals on drinks, but the typical drinks are slightly overpriced as they are at other venues Parking can be difficult, there is a tiny parking lot next to the theater that is almost always full unless you show up very very early, street parking is available all up and down Broadway, I think a lot of people just tend to park in the parking. Lots of the businesses that are closed for the evening."

"This venue is great to see a show at, you can see the stage from many places. Unfortunately the bathroom situation is tough as they only have a few toilets upstairs and one down. There are to many people to accommodate, they could use an update. Drinks were well priced. Other than that had a great time with friends."

"I went for Seven Lions Red Rocks after party. Pretty small but nice venue. There's upstairs area with chairs you can sit and watch. Downstairs with bar and dance floor. $15 for cocktail. I was able to park on the street right outside the venue but that's probably because I was early."
