About Us

On South Broadway in Englewood, the Gothic Theatre occupies a sweet spot that most music fans only discover once and then refuse to give up. It's the room where a band that should be selling out arenas somehow sounds even better because you're thirty feet from the stage, close enough to catch every detail the stadium version would swallow whole.

The building has bones. Walking in, you feel the weight of every show that came before yours, layered into the walls like old sound. Downstairs, the floor fills fast and the energy compounds. Upstairs, you get a different vantage, a bird's-eye read on the crowd and the stage both. Reviewers from as far away as Roswell, NM have made the drive specifically for this room, which tells you something about what it delivers.

The staff is the kind you notice for the right reasons. Kind, unhurried, and genuinely present. With a 4.5-star rating across nearly 3,000 reviews, the Gothic isn't coasting on reputation. It's earning it every single night.

What We Offer

The Gothic books the acts you've been following since before they were cool, and a few you're about to discover. General admission shows pack the floor with energy, while seated configurations upstairs let you settle in and actually absorb the performance. The sound system is calibrated for the room, not just for volume, so the mix lands clean whether you're front row or leaning against the back rail.

Beyond live concerts, the venue hosts a rotating calendar of events that includes comedy nights, DJ sets, and private event bookings for groups who want a storied space with real production infrastructure. Full bar service runs throughout every show. Parking and access on 3263 S Broadway keep things straightforward, and the layout moves crowds in and out without the chaos that plagues bigger rooms.

If you're putting together a private event, the Gothic's character does half the work for you. There's no decorating a historic venue into personality. It already has one.

Why Choose Us

Nearly 3,000 reviewers give the Gothic a 4.5-star average, one of Denver's most-reviewed live venues.
Intimate sightlines mean you're never more than a few rows from the action, regardless of where you stand.
Upstairs seating offers a rare option for concert-goers who want comfort without sacrificing the atmosphere.
Staff consistently praised for being kind and attentive, even on sold-out nights with packed floors.
Located directly on South Broadway, Denver's live-music corridor, with straightforward access and parking.
Books mid-tier touring acts at their peak, the artists too good for bars but still too real for arenas.

"Quaint venue to hear those awesome bands that haven’t become Stadium/Full Arena bands, but you don’t know why. It’s actually better to see these groups here because it’s just so much more personal feeling. Staff is nice, water bottle fuller station, free ear plugs! Enjoy!"

"Everyone at this venue that I encountered was absolutely kind, understanding, and caring. I was in attendance at tonight's Mirador show. My friend and I drove in from Roswell, NM. Made the decision to be a little crazy and sit in a queue for 12 hours. It was a long day filled with crazy weather and new friends. However come time to go in and even before there were issues with the AXS server. The issues were SEVERE and affected pretty much everyone! I happened to be near the box office at GA line and had asked the employee at the box office for help. Unfortunately there wasn't much she could do due to the Internet situation but she was SO kind. She arranged entry for us and got myself and my friend an impeccable spot. I wish I had gotten her name! But she was amazing and I am so grateful for all of the amazing staff at this Venue. You guys are truly blessings. Keep being badass."

"Really great place to see a show. As you walk in, the bathrooms are to the left or to the right up the stairs ( women's on the left ). There is seating upstairs or downstairs, a lot of times. General admission is only downstairs and there's not a ton of leveling or gradient before the stage. So if there's anyone slightly taller than you, you'll notice when they are in front of you. They do some deals on drinks, but the typical drinks are slightly overpriced as they are at other venues Parking can be difficult, there is a tiny parking lot next to the theater that is almost always full unless you show up very very early, street parking is available all up and down Broadway, I think a lot of people just tend to park in the parking. Lots of the businesses that are closed for the evening."

"This venue is great to see a show at, you can see the stage from many places. Unfortunately the bathroom situation is tough as they only have a few toilets upstairs and one down. There are to many people to accommodate, they could use an update. Drinks were well priced. Other than that had a great time with friends."

"I went for Seven Lions Red Rocks after party. Pretty small but nice venue. There's upstairs area with chairs you can sit and watch. Downstairs with bar and dance floor. $15 for cocktail. I was able to park on the street right outside the venue but that's probably because I was early."
